It won't let you drift into a topic a week: you set the year's main themes first, break each into sub-bouquets, and only then name the sermons underneath. The result is a plan your congregation can actually follow, one coherent line of thought from January to December, written and rehearsed before each Friday arrives.

52 weeks, 52 Friday khutbahs, plus 12 more for the Hijri occasions: Eid al-Fitr, Eid al-Adha, Hijrah, Isra' and Mi'raj, Ramadan. They arrive on their own dates and don't always belong under one of your themes or sub-bouquets. 52 + 12 = 64.
